Counted is intended to help users reflect on time, visits, and memories with the people who matter to them.

Counted is a local-first personal journaling and reflection tool. It is not an emergency service and should not be relied on for medical, safety-critical, or crisis-related decisions.

3. No medical or psychological advice

Counted does not provide medical, psychological, or life-expectancy advice.

4. Calculation disclaimer

All calculations, including estimated remaining visits and life-expectancy context, are based on general statistical models and assumptions.

These calculations are not predictions of actual lifespan or real-world outcomes. Individual circumstances vary widely and cannot be accounted for. The app is intended for reflective and informational purposes only.

5. As-is service

Counted is provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Counted is not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes based on the app's content, calculations, or reminders.

7. Your data and backups

You are responsible for maintaining your own device access, passcodes, and backup passphrases.

If you export an encrypted backup, keep the passphrase in a safe place. Without it, the backup may not be recoverable.

8. Future premium features

Counted may offer premium features in a future update. No pricing, subscription, or purchase flow is part of these terms unless and until those features are introduced in the shipped app.

9. Changes to the app or terms

Counted may change or update the app and these terms over time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
